Council tax is payable to City of Edinburgh Council and there is an information page here. You can set up a direct debit on this page here. Council tax is payable by the person who lives in the property. You may contact the Revenues and Benefits Division of the council who collect the payments of council tax by telephone or email:-

Lothian run regular bus services in the city and the Airlink service to and from Edinburgh Airport. Their website is here. There is an app called EdinBus which you can download to your mobile phone which will help you know when the next bus will arrive.
Edinburgh Trams run a seven minute service from Edinburgh Airport to Newhaven.
Libraries are spread across the city. These are run by the City of Edinburgh Council and you can find all the details of where they are and when they open here.
Supermarkets – Sainsburys, Morrisons, Waitrose and Marks & Spencer are all within a short distance from West Ferryfield.

Airport – Edinburgh Airport has its own website with details of all arrivals and departures. It lies to the west of the city.
Train stations Waverley Station connects to the East Coast mainline to London, all trains to Glasgow, Inverness and Aberdeen. Haymarket station serves trains to the north and west.
Hospitals – Western General Hospital, Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh
Doctors – Information about finding your local GP and registering with them can be found on the NHS Lothian website here.
Dentists – Information about finding a dentist and registering with them is also on the NHS website.
Cinemas – Vue at Ocean Terminal and Omni, The Cameo, Dominion Cinema, Everyman and Odeon.
Theatres – The King’s, The Playhouse, Edinburgh Festival Theatre, The Usher Hall, The Queen’s Hall.
Newspapers – The Scotsman and The Edinburgh Evening News are published daily and Scotland on Sunday at weekends.
Online local news – The Broughton Spurtle and The Edinburgh Reporter
